Meeting Description: 

The 39 International Conference of the Spanish Society for Applied Linguistics
(AESLA) will be held on 27-29 April 2022 at the Millares Carlo Building of the
University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The conference theme is
'Intercultural perspectives on language varieties ', which will provide a
forum for presenting theories, methodological proposals and ongoing research
that delve into communicative processes and the role of different languages,
cultures and contexts in the creation of meaning and mutual understanding in a
globalised world. The conference theme is not restrictive, therefore all
proposals for participation in applied linguistics are welcome.
