Description:

The Department of Cognitive Science at Johns Hopkins University is seeking to
hire two tenure-track / tenured faculty members in the area of
psycholinguistics, broadly construed, including language processing, language
learning, language deficits, using behavioral, neurobiological, or
computational approaches.  One of the appointments will be at the Assistant
Professor level, the other will be open-rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full
Professor). The ideal candidates will have exceptional records of conducting
psycholinguistic research that makes substantive contact with linguistic
theory and that complements existing multidisciplinary strengths of the
department. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to effective
teaching and mentoring at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
