Focus: Die Workshops gliedern sich in drei Blöcke (Datenverarbeitung, Datenerhebung und Kommunikationsdesign) und werden von Menschen mit substantieller Erfahrung in den jeweiligen Methoden geleitet.


There will be three blocks of workshops (data processing, data collection, and communication design) and will be taught by PhD candidates and postdocs with substantial experience in the respective method.

Description:
Wir vom Verein Junge Sprachwissenschaft planen für das Wintersemester eine Workshopreihe zu digitalen Methoden in der Linguistik.

Die Workshops sind voneinander weitestgehend unabhängig, sodass man auch nur einzelne Workshops besuchen kann.

Sie finden jeweils an einem Freitag und dem anschließenden Samstag online statt. Die genauen Termine und Uhrzeiten werden noch bekanntgegeben; wahrscheinlich fokussieren sie sich auf Freitagnachmittag und Samstagmittag.

The association for young linguists (Junge Sprachwissenschaft e.V.) plans a series of workshops on the topic of digital methods for the winter term.

These workshops will be mostly independent from each other, so that you can attend single workshops without requirements or prior knowledge.

Please note that most workshops are in German. Only the Workshop on Conducting Fieldwork will be held in English. We have left the workshop titles in the language of the workshop in the table below, to avoid confusion. However, if you do understand German but feel uncomfortable speaking it, you are welcome to participate in any of the workshops and ask questions in English.
