Meeting Description:

The Chicago Linguistic Society is the oldest student-run linguistics
organization in the United States. Our linguistics conference has been held
almost every year since 1965. For the upcoming academic year (2021-2022), CLS
will host the 58th iteration in-person from April 22-24, 2022.


Call for Papers:

The CLS 58 Committee would like to announce that the 58th Meeting of the
Chicago Linguistic Society will be held from April 22 to April 24, 2022. We
are accepting abstracts from now until January 9 of next year. Please see the
full CFP on our website or on EasyChair. While we welcome submissions from any
sub-field of linguistics and from any allied field, we especially welcome
submissions relating to our proposed special sessions:

Sociophonetics
Sign Languages
Language and Music
Language Production
Cognitive Modeling
Language Documentation, Variation and Change
