Subject: NSF-REU ILLC Oct 17 Online Graduate Application Workshop (free pre-registration closes on Oct 10)

 
The NSF-Research Experience for Undergraduates 'Intersection of Linguistics,
Language & Culture' (funded by NSF & ASSURE AFOSR Program SMA # 2050922) will
be running a Graduate Application Workshop about masters and doctoral programs
in linguistics and speech-language-communication-hearing sciences that include
information on admission criteria and process, how to select a program that
matches individual student interests and educational journey, funding and
career opportunities.

10:30am -12:30pm        
General introduction, including benefits of graduate education, differences
between professional and research masters and doctoral programs, preparing a
successful application and an interview, seeking funding; foreign students
coming to US; US students going abroad.
