Meeting Description:

The University of Stuttgart will be hosting the 46th conference ''Generative
Grammar in the South'' (GGS) from May 19th to May 21st, 2022. The conference
will be a platform for linguists and scholars in adjacent fields to discuss
their research ideas and network. We hope to hold the conference purely
in-person in the beautiful spring weather.

Die Universität Stuttgart veranstaltet vom 19. bis 21. Mai 2022 die 46. Tagung
''Generative Grammatik im Süden'' (GGS). Die Tagung ist eine Plattform für
Linguistinnen und Linguisten sowie Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler in
angrenzenden Bereichen, um ihre Forschungsideen zu diskutieren und sich zu
vernetzen.Wir hoffen, die Konferenz bei schönstem Frühlingswetter als reine
Präsenzveranstaltung durchführen zu können.

Call for Papers:

As a primary goal of the conference is to allow early-career researchers to
discuss their work in progress (and as it is the tradition), slots will be
allotted on a first-come-first-serve basis, with no abstract review.

The submission period starts now. Please feel free to forward the call to
people who might be interested.

The talks can be given in either English or German.

We invite oral presentations on any aspect devoted to analysis in the
framework of Generative Grammar, which includes generative syntax,
syntax-semantic interface, morphology, and phonology. Psycholinguistics and
sign language investigations related to generative syntax phenomena are also
welcome.

abstract for your talk if you have one) to ggs46 at easychair.org or upload your

Da ein Hauptziel der Konferenz darin besteht, Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen
und Nachwuchswissenschaftlern die Möglichkeit zu geben, ihre laufenden
Arbeiten zu diskutieren (und weil es so Tradition ist), werden die
Vortragsslots nach dem Prinzip „Wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst'' vergeben,
ohne Abstract-Begutachtung.

Der Einreichungszeitraum startet jetzt. Bitte leitet diesen Call weiter an
Leute, für die er interessant ist.

Die Vorträge können entweder auf Englisch oder auf Deutsch gehalten werden.

Wir freuen uns über Einreichungen aus dem Bereich der generativen Grammatik
(generative Syntax, generative Morphologie, generative Phonologie,
Syntax-Semantik-Interface). Psycholinguistische und gebärdensprachliche
Untersuchungen mit Verbindungen zur generativen Grammatik sind ebenfalls
willkommen.

(mit einem Abstract für euren Vortrag, wenn ihr eines habt) an
