Description:

Linguistics at Ulster resides in the School of Communication and Media, which
offers a wide variety of courses drawing on the Humanities and Social
Sciences, including postgraduate and undergraduate programmes in Language and
Linguistics. The successful candidate will join the linguistics team to teach,
supervise and examine across undergraduate and postgraduate provision in
Linguistics and to contribute to this highly active, collaborative research
environment. The specific discipline within linguistics is not specified for
this post, but preference will be given to candidates whose academic profile
complements the expertise already in the team (synchronic and diachronic
syntax; first language acquisition; conversation analysis) and offers a good
fit with both the needs of the School and the requirements of the QAA
benchmark for linguistics.

Salary: £35,389- £51,829
