Subject: Announcement: Vivian Cook Academic Memorial Service

 
Dear all, 

An academic memorial service will be held for Vivian Cook on Friday 27 May. It
will be hosted by Newcastle University, and colleagues are welcome to join in
person on campus (13.30-16.00 approx.) or remotely online (14.00-15.00 BST).  

Colleagues are asked to confirm their attendance by registering through
EventBrite at the below link:

Those who wish to join in person are asked to confirm their attendance no
later than Monday 9 May, for catering and room booking purposes. 
Those who wish to attend online will receive the Zoom link upon registration
through EventBrite. 

We are putting together a collection of pictures of Vivian, with Vivian, and
about Vivian, to make a short video to play on the day. If you would like to
share one or more pictures, please email it to TESOL at newcastle.ac.uk with a
very short legend to accompany it in the video. 

We look forward to coming together as an academic community to remember
Vivian.
