Meeting Description:

The international conference ''Wilhelm von Humboldt and neo-Humboldt
theories'' is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Professor
Guram Ramishvili, who had great merits in translating, researching and
popularizing the ideas and works of Wilhelm von Humboldt in the Soviet Union. 

The organizers are kindly inviting the scholars from all fields of the
humanities, especially those interested in Wilhelm von Humboldt's important
contributions to the philosophy of language, ethnolinguistics, educational
theory and practice, and neo-Humboldtian theories.

The conference will be held on 25-26 November, 2022 at Ivane Javakhishvili
Tbilisi State University (Tbilisi, Georgia).

Call for Papers:
Proposals for papers should be submitted in the form of abstracts of 400 words
as Word.doc, accompanied by the affiliation, email address and short bio of
the participant and mailed to: tsuconference at tsu.ge

Abstracts for Plenary Session: 30 minutes;
Abstracts for Other Session: 20 minutes;
Discussion: 10 minutes.

Language and literature
Mother tongue, bilingualism and multilingualism

The Organizing Committee cannot financially support the conference
participants. All fees and expenses must be met by the participants and/or
their organizations.
