Meeting Description:
This is happening for the first time in Nepal. Linguistic society of Nepal and
the Central Department of Linguistics, Tribhuvan University are the main
organizers of this joint conference.
Final Call for Papers:
The organizers would like to request all the linguists and practitioners from
home and abroad to submit an abstract (via Easychair) for the conference on
theoretical as well as applied aspects of language in the following or any
other relevant topics of linguistics before or by 4th September, 2022 (NST).

General Information:
There will be oral presentations and poster presentation sessions with invited
workshops. The details of the abstract are as follows:
- The abstract should contain the information about the data, methodology and
findings of the research (but no separate headings).
- Examples from other languages should be presented in IPA/ Unicode.
- Abstract may be in either the MS Word or PDF format within 500 words
excluding data in 12 size Times Roman font.
- An author can submit at the most two abstracts in total but only one of them
can be single-authored
- Presenters will be asked to submit their full presentation when their
abstracts are accepted.
Presentation
- Full oral presentation: 25-minute presentation followed by 5-minute
discussion.
- Poster size: 46'' x 60''/ 96'' (in inches); Font size: Between maximum 78 pt
(for main title) and minimum 24 pt (for body text).
Special Notice
The abstracts that were selected in 2020 for the originally planned SALA 36,
may be re-submitted if their author(s) so wish, if and only if, the papers
have not been already presented/ submitted for publication or indeed published
elsewhere.
