CiSS-2023 is a cross-disciplinary event aiming to introduce cognitive
perspectives in areal studies (sociolinguistic, ethnographic,
linguistic anthropological, etc.). Special attention is drawn to
semantic typology and semantic universals. Both regions: the Balkans
and the Caucasus are taken as promising projection areas.
