Meeting Description: 

The Institute of Linguistics (Russian Academy of Sciences) is pleased to
announce the 9th conference “Language issues: a young scholars’ perspective”,
which will be held online on 28–30 April 2022. We encourage young scholars to
present the results of their work at the conference. Young scholars mainly
include undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students studying linguistics.
Submissions from ‘mature’ scholars under the age of 35 will be considered on a
case-by-case basis.
 

Call for Papers:

Young scholars are invited to present their research in the format of a
20-minute talk (followed by 10 minutes of discussion). All participants who
have been accepted to present at the conference are entitled to submit a paper
to the conference proceedings.
The official languages of the conference are Russian and English. Abstracts
can be written in either language.

Application forms and anonymous abstracts should be submitted as two separate
documents to smu at iling-ran.ru (in .doc,.docx or .rtf format; the application
form is available here:

c). We kindly ask you to indicate your surname in the subject line of the
email. The abstract should not exceed 2000 characters (excluding references).
One individual may be involved in a maximum of 2 abstracts (maximum of 1 as a
sole author). All questions about submissions should be emailed to the email
box: smu at iling-ran.ru.
