Meeting Description:

Pamukkale University School of Foreign Languages hosts the “World Languages

2022. We are interested in receiving proposals on a wide range of topics
relating to the many long-running currents of thought and new waves of
thinking about several language teaching and learning contexts, including:
Eastern Languages and Literatures, Western Languages and Literatures, Slavic
Languages and Literatures, Linguistics, Translation Studies, Comparative
Literature, Ancient Languages and Cultures, Turkish Language and Literature,
Foreign Languages and Literature.

We believe the symposium will create opportunities on forming connections
among educators and researchers in Turkey and around the world. Hence, it will
provide an ideal venue for presenting research in progress and practical
applications of theoretical concepts. We welcome 300-500-word proposals either
in Turkish or English from researchers and educators conducting research in
all fields. Paper sessions are oral presentations, followed by a discussion
with the audience. Papers will be organized into 20-minute sessions. The
suggested presentation length is 15-20 minutes, with time for audience
questions and interaction. A book of abstracts will be published for the
papers to be presented at the symposium. The symposium is free of charge.
