Call for Papers:

The French & Italian Department at the University of Arizona is delighted to

and participate in live round-tables with fellow students and professors.

This conference mirrors our MA programmes. We thus look forward to receiving
abstracts addressing one or more of the following strands:
- theoretical and applied linguistics
- first, second language acquisition
- teaching French as a second/foreign language
- digital technologies and pedagogy
- French and Francophone literature, culture and civilization

- Women's studies, queer studies and sexuality
- French/Francophone art, art history
- Le français inclusif, le français neutre

Format: The pre-recorded Powerpoint presentations of accepted submissions will
be available from March 14 to March 26. Then, on March 26, participants will
be able to attend two plenaries followed by an interactive session with the
speakers as well as participate in live roundtables with other presenters and
participants around the conference strands.

Confirmed plenary speakers are Dr. Marie-José Hamel (Tâches en ligne,
construction identitaire et citoyenneté numérique en L2) and Dr. Régine
Michelle Jean-Charles (Spirit, land and sea: a environmental ethic in Haitian
