Meeting Description:

The 2022 Montréal-Ottawa-Toronto Phonology/Phonetics Workshop (MOT) will take
place at the University of Ottawa, March 25-27, 2022. MOT is an annual
phonology/phonetics conference for linguists from Ontario and Quebec who
conduct research in phonetics, phonology, their interfaces with each other, or
their interfaces with the morpho-syntax.


2nd Call for Papers:

The Department of Linguistics at the University of Ottawa is pleased to
announce a call for papers for the Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto Phonology/Phonetics
Workshop (MOT). The workshop will take place March 25-27, 2022. If we can’t
meet in person, the meeting will be held virtually. 

Abstracts are invited on any topic related to phonetics, phonology, their
interfaces with each other, or their interfaces with the morpho-syntax.

Please submit anonymous abstracts in PDF format with the words “MOT 2022” in
the subject line to mot2022conference at gmail.com. Abstracts are not to exceed 1
page, including data and references, with 1-inch margins and 11-point font.

Please submit abstracts by Monday, January 31, 2022 by 11:59pm EST. Abstracts
will be reviewed internally, with results expected within two weeks of
submission.

Abstracts and talks may be in either English or French.

Logistical details about the workshop will follow in due course. Please

Appel à communications

C’est avec plaisir que le département de linguistique à l’Université d’Ottawa
lance un appel de propositions pour l’atelier de phonologie/phonétique MOT
(Montréal-Ottawa-Toronto). L’atelier aura lieu du 25 au 27 mars 2022. Si nous
ne pouvons pas nous rencontrer en personne, l‘atelier se tiendra
virtuellement.

Nous vous invitons à soumettre des résumés portant sur tout sujet en
phonétique, phonologie, morphologie, ou concernant leurs interfaces.

Les résumés doivent être soumis par courriel en format PDF, avec les mots «MOT
2022» dans le titre du message, à mot2022conference at gmail.com. Les résumés ne
doivent pas dépasser 1 page, y compris les références et les exemples, avec
des marges de 1 pouce et une taille de caractère d’au moins 11pt.

La date limite pour soumettre un résumé est le lundi 31 janvier 2022 à 23h59
HNE. Les résumés seront évalués à uOttawa. L’annonce des résultats sera faite
deux semaines après la date limite.

Les résumés et les conférences peuvent être en français ou en anglais.
