Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Indiana University
(https://linguistics.indiana.edu/) invites applications for a full-time,
senior faculty position at the rank of Full Professor with Tenure to begin
August 1, 2022. We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher and scholar to teach at
both the undergraduate and graduate levels, to supervise graduate students
specializing in fieldwork or typology, to contribute to the Computational
Linguistics and General Linguistics programs, and to promote the field in the
wider university context. 

Basic Qualifications: 
 - Strength and an active, cohesive research program in fieldwork, typology,
and corpus linguistics, in areas complementing existing strengths in the
department. 
 - Leadership in their chosen field.

Preferred Qualifications: 
 - Foci in morphology or morphosyntax and language documentation.
 - Established track record in development of computational resources. 

Education Requirements: 
 - PhD in Appropriate Area
