Meeting Description:

The European Symposia in Celtic Studies continue the series of five
German-speaking symposia, which took place in 1992 (Gosen near Berlin), 1997
(Bonn), 2001 (Marburg), 2005 (Linz) and 2009 (Zurich). The First and Second
European Symposia in Celtic Studies were held in 2013 in Trier and in 2017 in
Bangor, respectively. The European Symposia in Celtic Studies are organised on
behalf of Societas Celtologica Europaea.


Call for Papers:

The Department of Humanities of the University of Pavia will host the Third
European Symposium in Celtic Studies from 7 to 9 September 2022. Papers are
invited on any aspect of Celtic Studies, including language, literature,
history, archaeology and culture from any period.

Abstracts can be submitted uploading a .pdf file (max. 250 words) through
easychair https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=3escs2021 by March 31 2022.
Notification of acceptance is due by April 30. Please note that your paper
will be included in the conference programme only if you register for the
conference by May 31. Registration will be open since April 1.

Authors of already accepted papers are free to update their abstracts by March
31.
