Meeting Description:

The Department of Linguistics (School of Philology) of the Aristotle
University of Thessaloniki is pleased to announce the 42nd Annual Meeting to
be held in Thessaloniki on May 5-8, 2022. This year's meeting will also
include a special themed session on ''Language Typology''. A pre-conference
postgraduate workshop will be held on the first day of the conference.

Invited Speakers:
- Elena Anagnostopoulou, University of Crete
- Ioanna Kappa, University of Crete
- Dimitra Melissaropoulou, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
- Stavros Skopeteas, University of Göttingen

Venue:

AMGL 42 will be held as a hybrid conference offering onsite and virtual
versions, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The conference will be held in
Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and
on-line.

2nd Call for Papers:

Abstract submission deadline EXTENDED! 

Dear Colleagues,
the new deadline for abstract submission for the  42nd Annual Meeting of the
Department of Linguistics is 31 January 2022.
AMGL 42 will be held on May 6-8, 2022, and welcomes submissions for
talks/posters on any aspect of theoretical and applied linguistics, as well as
papers that explore typological issues for the special themed session on
''Language Typology''. 

Those who wish to participate in the 42nd Annual Meeting with a presentation
are invited to electronically submit their abstracts as .pdf files by January
25, 2022 to EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=amgl42

Notification of acceptance will be sent on February 20, 2022.
