Call for papers:

1st issue 2023, vol. 47 (January-April)

Káñina, Journal of Arts and Letters of University of Costa Rica is a quarterly
academic scientific publication on the subject of Costa Rican, classical and
international Linguistics, Literature and Arts. Its main objective is to
publish original and unpublished papers about theoretical and metatheoretical
analysis on these areas.

It is aimed at national and international professionals, academics and
researchers, as well as students, interested in the disciplines of
Linguistics, Literature and Arts. 

Káñina receives papers in digital format (Word Program for Machintosh or Word
for PC 2010 or higher), which must meet the standards for authors required by
the journal. The author is notified of the receipt of his or her paper, which
is submitted to a first revision of format by the editorial team of the
journal. Subsequently, the paper is sent to two external reviewers. The peer
review process is double blind, to ensure an objective and scientific
evaluation.

Regarding the Linguistics field, Káñina publishes papers about the following
subfields:

-Applied Linguistics
-Computational Linguistics
-Historical Linguistics
-History of Linguistics
-Lexicography
-Pragmatics
-Phonology and Phonetics
