Subject: Participants needed for study on Estonian, Finnish and Hungarian

Hello,
We are looking for participants in a speech experiment that examines the
pronunciation of noun phrases (e.g. the hardworking hag) in the larger
Finno-Ugric languages (Estonian, Finnish, Hungarian).
We are looking for adults (from the age of 18) whose mother tongue is Estonian
/ Finnish / Hungarian.

*** Three gift cards *** worth 25 Euro will be drawn between the 30
participants of the experiment (per language; three Apollo gift cards
(https://www.apollo.ee/) for the Estonian experiment; three Elisa Kirja-gift
cards (https://kirja.elisa.fi/) for the Finnish experiment; three Libri gift
cards (https://www.libri.hu/) for the Hungarian experiment).

The participation is contact-free and you can take part in the experiment
online and at any time of your choice. Participation takes about 30 to 60
minutes (depending on your personal thoroughness). Your task is to read a
description of an everyday-type interaction scenario. The scenario will end
with a question. You will then see an answer to that question written on the
screen. Your task is to say this answer out loud. Your voice will be recorded
when you do so. The plan for this study has been reviewed for its adherence to
ethical guidelines by a Research Ethics Board at the University of Alberta
(study code Pro00119501).

The experiment is being carried out in a collaborative project between three
universities: the University of Tartu (Estonia), the Goethe University in
Frankfurt (Germany), and the University of Alberta (Canada). Additional
information from the principal researcher of the research project Nele Ots:
ots at em.uni-frankfurt.de (Estonian) / Anja Arnhold: arnhold at ualberta.ca
(Finnish) / Corinna Langer, langer at lingua.uni-frankfurt.de, and Frank Kügler,
