Subject: Journal of Second Language Writing: Call for Student Editorial Board Members

 
The Journal of Second Language Writing is seeking applications for two student
editorial board members. Position responsibilities include the following:

- reviewing 2-3 manuscripts per year;
- participating in the annual Editorial Board meeting, held via Zoom;
- voting for the best article published in the Journal the previous year;
- assisting the Editors in the review of special issue proposals.

Successful applicants are expected to:

- be within 2 years of completing a PhD in a relevant field
- have strong support from their main supervisor

A publication record (e.g., conference presentation or publication) would be
an advantage.

Mentoring assistance will be provided by one of the editors and/or senior
editorial board members.

Your application should include the following as one PDF:

- Cover letter describing your interest in the position and relevant
experience, including journal review experience
- Full CV with contact information for the reference from your supervisor
