Meeting Description:

The GSFL is proud to annunce its 10th annual international roundtable on
forensic linguistics.  The conference will be held online from November 17-20,
2022.  Invited topics for presentation include but are not limited to original
research conducted in one of the following areas: FORENSIC LINGUISTICS (FL);
FORENSIC SPEECH SCIENCES (FSS); LANGUAGE AND LAW; TRANSLATION AND
INTERPRETATION IN FORENSIC CONTEXTS (TIFC); EDUCATION IN FL/FSS, OR TIFC.
Submissions may examine any language but preference will be given to abstracts
investigating a Germanic language (i.e., English, German, Danish, Norwegian,
Swedish, Dutch, Afrikaans, Icelandic, Frisian, Yiddish, etc.).  Submissions
must be in either English, German, or Danish.  


Call for Papers:

All interested authors are requested to submit a 250-word abstract by August
15, 2022 using the following link:

. Alternatively, authors may submit an abstract directly to Dr. I. M. Nick
germanicsocietyfl at gmail.com.  Please be sure to include “GSFL2022abstract” in
the email subject line. After the CFP deadline, all abstracts will be
submitted to double blind review by an international team of experts. Authors
will be notified about acceptance on or about September 1, 2022.  Should you
