Part Time Lecturer - Linguistics

The Department of World Languages and Literatures at Southern Connecticut
State University invites applications for a part-time adjunct teaching
position for Fall 2022 semester and Spring 2023 semester. Candidates with
experience teaching introductory linguistics and second language acquisition
courses are invited to apply. The pressing need for the Fall 2022 semester is
teaching an on-ground undergraduate Introduction to Linguistics course that
meets once a week on Thursdays from 11:10 a.m. till 1:40 p.m. In Spring 2023
teaching load will include two sections of Second Language Acquisition course
at graduate and undergraduate levels. One section will meet on ground, the
other section will take place in synchronous online modality.

To apply, please submit a letter of interest, current CV/resume, copies of
graduate and undergraduate transcripts to Dr. Elena Schmitt, Coordinator,
TESOL Program at the email address below. All application materials must be
electronically submitted.  Unofficial transcripts are acceptable. Review of
applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are
filled.
