Meeting Description:

Educational organizations all over the world have been forced to the immediate
shift in their systems and practices to online education (OE) because of the
disruptions and disjuntures that the crisis situation of the global COVID-19
pandemic has created. This situation has never been witnessed before.
Consequently, universities have also had to navigate this storm and keep up
with a rapidly emerging information-based society through various means among
which are online courses inspite of teachers’ unpreparedness. Yet, they found
themselves with no choice but cope with the situation and take up the
challenge for educational innovation towards new teaching methods and adopt
effective online tools. Hence, the main aim of this conference is to provide
insights into the effective adoption of OE in universities in Algeria and
around the world. This would support universities educational policies,
contribute to a scientific understanding of the adoption of OE and share
research findings related to the conference theme with global experts.
