Meeting Description: 

The Annual International Conference of the Japan Association for Language
Teaching (JALT) is a gathering of about 1,500 language teachers and
researchers over four days of research- and practice-oriented presentations,
workshops, and roundtables. Finally back to an in-person conference after two
years of being online, we welcome you to the vibrant coastal city of Fukuoka
in the southwest of Japan. Our weekend also marks the start of a sumo
tournament held at the venue next to our conference venue, almost guaranteeing
that you'll spot sumo wrestlers in the area.
