The main purpose of this conference is to gather current research advances in
formal and experimental semantics and in the interface with other areas, such
as syntax, phonology, morphology, pragmatics, discourse analysis, text
linguistics, language acquisition, educational linguistics and computational
linguistics.

Porto, Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto 
21-23 November 2022

The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the International Semantics
Conference -InSemantiC 2022 to be held in Porto, Faculty of Arts and
Humanities of the University of Porto, on 21-23 November 2022. Currently, we
are planning a live conference, but all measures will be taken to change to
hybrid mode if circumstances require it.

Conference aims and topics
The main purpose of this conference is to gather current research advances in
formal and experimental semantics and in the interface with other areas, such
as syntax, phonology, morphology, pragmatics, discourse analysis, text
linguistics, language acquisition, educational linguistics and computational
linguistics. 
 
Program
The Scientific Program will include invited talks and oral presentations.

Hana Filip, Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf

Languages
English (preferentially) and Portuguese

Submissions and dates
Authors are invited to submit an abstract up to 10000 characters with spaces
including references.

Submissions must be anonymous and should be submitted electronically via
EasyChair:

At least one author of each accepted abstract is required to register for the
conference, and present the work at the conference.

Abstract acceptance notifications: September, 20, 2022
Full papers due: February, 28, 2023
Full papers notifications: May, 15, 2023

Registration

After 31 October 
Teachers and researchers – 90 euros   
Students – 50 euros

Publication
Accepted papers are expected to be published in a volume by an international
publisher.
