Description:

The Department of English Philology at Korea International University in
Fergana (KIUF) is recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated English Native
professor to join our teaching team starting in September 2022. KIUF, founded
in August 2019, is a private university that adopts the Korean educational
system. The department of English Philology is a young department, which
launched in the Fall semester of 2021. 

Responsibilities:
 - Teach English to undergraduate students at all levels within the Department
of English Philology (up to 18 teaching hours per week) 
 - Organize and participate in extra-curricular activities with students such
as English club
 - Participate in all departmental activities 

Qualifications:
 - Native speaker of English
 - Master’s degree in any discipline in Humanities (MA in Applied Linguistics
or TESOL preferred)
 - Two years or more teaching experience at the university level is preferred
but not required

Compensation: 
 - Annual net salary: USD 32,000 - 40,000 depending on qualifications and
experience (Note: The estimated monthly living cost for a single person is
$387 according to numbeo, and a furnished 1 bedroom apartment in Fergana costs
approximately $250.) 
 - Official work visa and permits
 - A round trip flights
 - Two-year contract renewable subject to the mutual agreement
