The fourth edition of the Jornades de la lingüística catalana a Viena will
take place on June 20 – 21, 2022 at the University of Vienna and will have as
its main topic “Catalan semantics and pragmatics”.
We are glad to announce that the following invited speakers have confirmed
their participation:

La quarta edició de les Jornades de lingüística catalana a Viena tindrà lloc
els dies 20 i 21 de juny de 2022 a la Universitat de Viena i tindrà com a tema
principal “Semàntica i pragmàtica del català”.

Call for Papers:

The fourth edition of the Jornades de la lingüística catalana a Viena will
take place on June 20 – 21, 2022 at the University of Vienna and will have as
its main topic “Catalan semantics and pragmatics”.
People interested in participating with a talk can send an anonymous abstract
(max. 500 words plus references; in Catalan or English) to the following
e-mail address: publication_jornades.ifr at univie.ac.at

Submission deadline: April 30, 2022
Notification of acceptance: by May 10, 2022.

We are interested in theoretical as well as empirical approaches to Catalan
semantics and pragmatics. Abstracts may also address interface phenomena with
other components of grammar and take a cross-linguistic approach comparing
Catalan to other languages.

Les persones interessades a participar-hi amb una xerrada ens poden enviar un
resum anònim (màx. 500 paraules i les referències; en català o anglès) a la
següent adreça de correu electrònic: publication_jornades.ifr at univie.ac.at 
Data límit de presentació: 30 d’abril de 2022
Notificació d’acceptació: 10 de maig de 2022.
Estem interessats en treballs teòrics i empírics sobre la semàntica i la
pragmàtica del català. Els resums també poden tractar fenòmens d‘interfície
amb altres components de la gramàtica catalana i/o adoptar una perspectiva
comparativa amb altres llengües.
