-Ideologías lingüísticas en la prensa escrita y otros medios de comunicación:
el caso de las lenguas románicas-, to be held in the cities of La Plata and
Buenos Aires between the 28th and the 30th September 2022.

This is the fifth edition of an international scientific meeting that has been
held every two years since its first edition in Augsburg (Germany) in October
2013, then in Montreal (Canada) in 2015, Alicante (Spain) in 2017 and Messina
(Italy) in 2019, and has resulted in the publication of two dossiers
(Remysen/Schwarze/Ennis 2015a and b) and four monographic volumes (Marimón
Llorca/Santamaría 2019; Remysen/Schwarze 2019; Marimón Llorca/Remysen/Rossi
2021; Pano Alamán/Ruggiano/Walsh 2021) so far. It is a benchmark event in the
study of linguistic ideologies in the field of Romance languages - initially
concentrated on the study of the print press, but which in its latest editions
has included film, television, radio and the web - which will take place for
the first time in Latin America. As in previous editions, this scientific
meeting aims to bring together researchers interested in the dual role of the
media, both printed and digital, as a place of production and dissemination of
linguistic ideologies in Romance languages.
