Meeting Description:

This international conference brings together academics, researchers and
service providers to showcase the latest research and best practice in
conversation analysis. Our theme ‘Branching Out’ reflects the growth and
application of conversation analysis in different academic disciplines,
different professional and workplace contexts, and across the globe.

In addition to the conference proper we will be offering pre-conference
workshops on a wide range of conversation analysis to showcase latest methods
and enhance professional skills in doing conversation analysis. The program
for preconference workshops will be announced shortly. 

ICCA 2023 marks the first time the conference will be held in the Southern
Hemisphere and in the Asia-Pacific region. Preparations are well under way to
deliver an exciting program and new opportunities for collaboration, as well
as the opportunity to experience Australia with its unique wildlife and
environment.

We look forward to seeing you in Brisbane!


Call for Papers:

The Scientific Program Committee invites prospective authors to submit titles
and abstracts of conference papers and posters for consideration for
presentation at ICCA 2023. Submissions can be made via the Abstract Submission
Portal on the ICCA2023 website (https://icca2023.org/call-for-abstracts/).

All abstracts must follow the instructions listed below and be submitted
online before midnight AEST 30 June 2022 (Brisbane, Queensland) (3pm GMT 30
June). Please note that the closing date for abstract submission will not be
extended.

All enquiries regarding abstracts for ICCA 2023 should be emailed to
