Is your second language English? Do you feel you sometimes get confused in
reading English, and that there is an influence of your first language? Hello,
my name is Angela Burns and I'm an undergraduate at Dartmouth College working
with my faculty supervisor Professor Samantha Wray. I’m currently working on
an undergraduate research study and looking for volunteers to take a 10-15
minute experiment. The study asks about your language background and will also
ask to you press buttons depending on what colors you see. The study aims to
determine the role of a language’s spelling system in processing words. Anyone
above the age of 18 who speaks English as a second language is eligible to
participate. Participation is voluntary. I can be reached via email at
Angela.E.Burns.22 at dartmouth.edu if you have any questions or comments. Thank
you for your time.
