Subject: Gauging Interest: Workshop Reflecting on Anti-Racism Efforts in Linguistics

Starting in Summer 2020, many of our disciplinary and institutional spaces
responded to widespread calls to address anti-Black racism and other issues of
racial justice. We're aiming to put together workshops or other synchronous
spaces in order to do some (scholarly) reflection on how linguist(ic)s have
responded to these calls, with the ultimate goals of building community and
collective organizing/strategizing for equity and justice in linguistics and
related fields.

This survey is to gauge interest in doing/continuing this work and the types
of programming that would be most useful for our community moving forward. Our
short-term goals are to organize community spaces, including a potential
organized session at the LSA Annual meeting, with a long-term goal for
publication, such as a journal special issue or an edited volume.

As we are trying to reach a broad set of potential participants, please share
this survey with your networks: https://forms.gle/HrJfUF7Tx5t5ZDDH6
