Meeting Description:

The 30th Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference will be hosted by Simon Fraser
University in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on Mar 11-13, 2023.

The Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference is an annual meeting on Japanese
and Korean languages. The emphasis is on the commonalities and differences
between Japanese and Korean and their implications for the theory of
linguistics in general. The conference covers all subfields of linguistics,
including syntax, semantics, morphology, phonology and phonetics, language
acquisition, psycholinguistics and language variation and change.


Call for Papers:

JK 30
Deadline: Sept. 16, 2022

The Department of Linguistics at Simon Fraser University is pleased to invite
abstracts for submission to the 30th Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference
(JK 30) to be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Mar. 11 – 13, 2023.

Abstracts are invited for 20-miniute talks and posters on any aspect of
Japanese/Korean linguistics, or comparison of these languages with other
languages.

Instructions for Abstract Submission

Abstracts are not to exceed two pages of letter-sized (8.5''x 11'') paper,
including data and references, with 1'' margins on all sides, set in a font no
smaller than 11 points. The abstract should have a clear title but should not
identify the author(s). The abstract must be submitted electronically in PDF
format, using the electronic submission website (EasyChair) accessible from:
http://www.sfu.ca/xsyn/jk30/submit.html

The EasyChair submission page will open on July 1, 2022, 9:00am Pacific
Standard Time

Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author,
or two joint abstracts per author.
