Meeting Description:

The LERC2022 is a 2- day conference being curated by the academic institution
ALS House Delta -CELTA centre, its Research Centre for Applied Languages and
Linguistics, the Journal of Applied Languages and Linguistics and Macmillan
Education, with an audience of about 100 people in a f2f format and approx. 50
people in a virtual setting, made up of academicians, EFL teachers,
researchers and EFL students mainly from the Aristotle University of
Thessaloniki. The theme of the LERC2022 is Empowering Educators: Benefits,
Best Practices and Acceleration of Language and Literacy.

Keynote speakers so far:
Adrian Underhill will be presenting The Sound Foundations approach to
pronunciation: origins and core features in a face-to-face workshop and Dr
Thomai Alexiou, Associate Professor at the Aristotle University of
Thessaloniki.

Live interviews:
Rob Howard will be interviewing live four presenters.

The call for proposals is now open.

We are diligently working on bringing the most knowledgeable researchers and
educators from all over the world, as well as leaders in the industry to
explore important topics such as

The 4th International Conference on Language Education and Research will
entail two full days of sessions on cutting edge issues related to Language
Education and Research. There are also many opportunities for networking and
socializing with our colleagues.

​This year we intend to have a more interactional mode throughout the day so
that the audience is given plenty of time to interact and share their context.
The format is fluid to meet the expectations of the presenters and delegates.
We welcome the formats as listed below:

​Papers: 30 minutes (incl. a 10-minute discussion

Workshops: 45 minutes (incl. a 10 minute discussion)

Poster presentations

Paper submission deadline

​The organising committee welcomes contributions from researchers,
practitioners and teacher trainers.

Each speaker will have the opportunity to present one paper. Accepted
presentations will also be considered for publication in the Journal of
Applied Languages and Linguistics.

​Please send your abstracts (max 80 words) and summaries (max 200 words) to Dr

than 30 June 2022.
