Meeting Description:

The first SCCC met in Paris in September 2016 and was followed up by smaller
meetings in North America and the second SCCC in Tbilisi in 2018. There was an
unfortunate break due to the pandemic, and we are delighted to resume the
meetings in person. 

Following up on its general theme, SCCC-3 will bring together linguists
working on different aspects of the scientific study of language and experts
in Georgian and South Caucasian (Kartvelian) languages and will place special
emphasis on the morphology and morphosyntax of polypersonal grammatical
systems. As in the prior meetings, SCCC will include several tutorials, poster
sessions, and round tables, to create as much space for informal discussions
as possible. In 2023, SCCC will also host tutorials on bilingualism, child
language development, and experimental design in linguistic research. 

The conference will be held in person, but hybrid options will be considered.

The South Caucasian Chalk Circle-3 (SCCC-3)

Instructions for Abstract Submission:

Presentations must be in English. 
Abstracts should be anonymous and must not exceed 2 pages (A4, 1 inch-margins
on all four sides, Times New Roman 12 pt.), including data and references.
Abstracts must be submitted online using the link
(https://easychair.org/cfp/SCCC3). We will accept electronic submissions only
(pdf files).

Deadline for abstract submission: April 15, 2023

The conference registration fee is 50 USD, 100 GEL for Georgian scholars, free
for students. 

How to pay: Conference registration fee can be paid by two options: by bank
transfer  and on-site payment (Details will be  provided in confirmation
mail).
