ADVANCING CODE-SWITCHING RESEARCH
UNIVERSITY OF VIGO, OCTOBER 6-7 2022

The LANGUAGE VARIATION AND TEXTUAL CATEGORISATION (LVTC) research group at the
University of Vigo is happy to announce the International workshop ‘ADVANCING
CODE-SWITCHING RESEARCH’, which will take place on 6-7 OCTOBER 2022 at the
University of Vigo. Students, staff and researchers are welcome to join the
workshop. The University of Vigo will issue attendance certificates.

The workshop has two parts. In the mornings, we will have a series of
face-to-face lectures introducing multilingualism/code-switching research. In
the afternoons, we will have two forum discussion sessions on hot topics in
code-switching research. IMPORTANT: All the face-to-face sessions will take
place in Biblioteca Pública de Vigo Juan Compañel (Rúa Joaquín Yáñez, 6) in
Vigo.

AFTERNOON FORUM DISCUSSION SESSIONS: HOT TOPICS IN CODE-SWITCHING RESEARCH

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: There will be NO FEES. The morning sessions are
face-to-face only. The afternoon sessions are hybrid. Those who are able to
join in person are free to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions and
those who cannot will be able to join the afternoon sessions online. Please
