Meeting Description:
After Covid-19, radical changes have been witnessed in the field of
education all over the world. English teaching has also been affected
by these changes in various ways. The process we live in shows that,
like other fields of education, English Language Teaching (ELT)
continues to evolve. For this reason, “1st International Cappadocia
ELT Conference (CapELT)” will be held at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli
University to enable all stakeholders related to ELT to keep up with
the changing conditions in themselves, their professional
qualifications, attitudes and skills. Therefore, First International
CAPELT Conference will be organized with the main theme of "Getting
Ready for the Evolving Future of ELT".
Call for Papers:
We invite submissions in the form of PAPERS (20 minutes + 10 minutes
for discussion) and POSTERS that address, but are not limited to, the
following topics:
Assessing second language knowledge;
Classroom interaction and management;
Content and language integrated learning (e.g., EMI);
Course books, materials, syllabuses;
Developing intercultural competence in the language classroom;
Disseminating the findings of research into L2 learning and teaching
