Another week of the Linguist List Fund Drive 2023 down and the races
are tight! Thank you to everyone that has contributed, and keep it up!
Let’s see the updated leader board:

In the Subfield Competition, Semantics continues to lead the way,
though Pragmatics and others are quickly closing the gap! While
Semantics has stalled at $755, Pragmatics is at $645, Phonetics is at
$450 and Syntax is at $330, so it is anyone’s race! Don’t let your
subfield fall behind, get your donations in now!

In our University Competition, Cornell still leads the way, though the
group has grown even larger! Joining the group, we have contributions
from University of Southern Maine, Stanford University and University
of Potsdam! Don’t let your university fall behind!

As for the Country Competition, the United States has a lead, with
Canada, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland and Austria trailing. Will
the United States maintain the lead, or will another country take the
title? Stay tuned into the results to find out for yourself at
https://funddrive.linguistlist.org/challenges !

Want to support the Linguist List and represent your country,
university, and subfield? You can make a donation at
https://funddrive.linguistlist.org/donate to represent!

The winners of each of the challenges will receive a feature in the
special post at the end of the Fund Drive. This is a great opportunity
to draw attention to your school, program, or projects, so get your
donations in now!
