Call for Papers:

The Frontiers Research Topic ''Tonal Language Processing and
Acquisition in Native and Non-native Speakers'' aims to publish
current studies on the production and comprehension of tonal languages
and how they are processed in real-time, including their
representation in multiple brain systems, and under different
neurological conditions. It also welcomes studies examining, for tonal
language speakers and learners, how speech, language and literacy
skills are acquired and changed during typical cognitive development,
and how developmental deficits may compromise them.
The deadlines for abstract and full manuscript submission are 31
October 2023 and 29 February 2024. However, Frontiers' fast-track
review process means each article is published online as soon as it's
been successfully peer-reviewed and accepted.
Please find more details about the collection on the topic website: ht
