Description:

Kauz is a leading provider of chatbots and AI assistants for customer
and employee service. We are looking for an AI Developer (m/f/d) for
the further development of our AI assistants. Our headquarters is in
Düsseldorf, remote work/ home office is possible.

Recent breakthroughs in generative AI will rapidly expand the ability
to create high-quality chatbots in less time. At the same time, from a
customer perspective, the need to use reliable data sources and
controllable AI remains paramount. Therefore, we rely on a tight
integration of generative AI and LLMs and our self-developed leading
NLU engine. Your task is to continuously improve this integration.

Your tasks:
 - Help to advance the development and application of AI assistants in
a customer and employee service context
 - Help to advance our rule- and ontology based NLU to enable reliable
and controllable AI assistants
 - Help to develop interfaces between generative AI and rule based
NLU.
 - Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze system
performance and accuracy

Requirements:
 - You have a background in computational linguistics or a similar
field
 - You have already gained experience with NLU systems and know how to
work with lexical semantics and ontologies
 - Ideally, you have already gained experience with generative AI
 - You have strong problem solving skills and love to develop and
implement ideas
 - You are proficient in Java and Python
 - You have already worked with version control programs like Git
 - You are fluent in written and spoken German and English
