Meeting Description:

structural interfaces: The Romance languages of Italy and beyond,
finanziato dal Research Development Support Fund della School of Arts,
Languages and Cultures dell’Università di Manchester.

The 18th CIDSM will be hosted by the Department of Linguistics and
English Language of the University of Manchester from 25 to 27 June
2024.

The CIDSM aims to bring together scholars working on any aspect of the
syntax and/or the morphology of the dialects of Italy (including
non-Italo-Romance varieties) and encourages all frameworks and
approaches – whether synchronic or diachronic, descriptive or
theoretical – to the study of the regional languages and dialects
spoken in Italy.

The 18th edition will include a symposium entitled Information
structural interfaces: The Romance languages of Italy and beyond. This
is funded by the Research Development Support Fund of the School of
Arts, Languages and Cultures of the University of Manchester. The
symposium is scheduled on 27 June (please see the conference website
for further relevant information). The preceding days will be
dedicated to general, open-theme, sessions, which will include a
poster session.
