Call for Papers:

Peter Scharf and I invite you to consider contributing to an issue of
Languages which will be dedicated to topics in the syntax and
semantics of Vedic, Epic and Classical Sanskrit. In light of how
little properly linguistic work has been done of Classical Sanskrit,
we welcome contributions on any topic in either syntax or semantics
from the point of view of any linguistic theory.

Tentative Completion Schedule
Abstract Submission Deadline: 15 February 2024
Notification of Abstract Acceptance: 3 March 2024
Full Manuscript Deadline: 15 September 2024

We request that, prior to submitting a manuscript, interested authors
initially submit a proposed title and an abstract of 400–600 words
summarizing their intended contribution. Please send it to the guest
editors (brendan.gillon at mcgill.ca) or to Languages editorial office
(languages at mdpi.com). Abstracts will be reviewed by the guest editors
for the purposes of ensuring proper fit within the scope of the
special issue. Full manuscripts will undergo double-blind peer-review.
