Linguistic Field(s): Phonology

Call Deadline: 15-Feb-2024

Meeting Description:

A conference of Phonology, open to all phonological currents.

Call for Papers:

The French Phonology Network (Réseau Français de Phonologie) is
launching a call for papers for its 2024 annual conference, the
twenty-first in its history. The 2024 edition will take place on 26-28
June in Amiens, France. The conference is sponsored by the research
laboratories le Cercll (UR UPJV 4283/Université de Picardie Jules
Verne), MoDyCo (UMR 7114 CNRS/Université Paris Nanterre), and SFL (UMR
7023 CNRS/Université de Paris 8).

Submissions anchored in any school or theoretical framework of
phonology are welcome. Topics of interest may relate to phonology in
general or for specific languages, along synchronic or diachronic
dimensions. Topics may focus on, but are not limited to, signal
processing, perception, acquisition, diachrony, dialectology,
formalism, epistemology, descriptive phonology and all issues which
explicitly deal with phonology and its interfaces.

A thematic session will look at non-linear morphophonology.

Presentations will be given in French or English. When possible, we
encourage people to speak in one of these languages, while providing a
handout or slides in the other. Presentations will be scheduled for
30-minute time slots (20-25 minutes for presentation and 5-10 minutes
for discussion).

Keynote speakers

Gabriela Caballero (University of California San Diego)
Mohamed Lahrouchi (Université Paris 8, CNRS SFL)
 Clàudia Pons-Moll (Universitat de Barcelona)

New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced, including references, tables and
