Meeting Description:

The 21st AILA World Congress 2024 will be held on the 11-16 August 2024 in
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  The theme for this hybrid AILA 2024 World Congress is
Linguistic Diversity, Inclusion and Sustainability.

The Malaysian Association of Applied Linguistics (MAAL) will be hosting this
prestigious congress in 2024 which is a trilogy in celebration of 60 years of
AILA. The AILA congresses has consistently attracted renown applied linguists,
leaders in government, business, the arts and academia, as well as scholars,
teachers and practitioners from all over the world. The congress in Malaysia
will be made up of several strands which will also include the SDGs. It is
expected to attract over 1500 participants.
