Meeting Description:

The Institute for Multilingualism at UIC Barcelona is proud to announce its
8th Annual Spring Research Conference, the purpose of which is to gather
specialists on bi/multilingualism research from different methodological
perspectives.


Call for Papers:

We invite proposals for individual or joint presentations of 20 minutes (+
10-minute discussion) related to the study of bi/multilingualism and teaching
and learning in multilingual contexts within the areas of Linguistics, Applied
Linguistics and Psycholinguistics.

We encourage submissions from the following subfields:

- L1/L2/L3 acquisition and learning
- Heritage languages
- Language for specific purposes
- Content and language integrated learning (CLIL)
- English medium instruction (EMI)
- Integrating content and language in higher education (ICLHE)
- The Englishisation of education
- Intercultural education
- Teacher education and curriculum/programme design
- Task-based teaching and learning
- Language psychology and psycholinguistics
- The acquisition of pragmatics
- The cognitive and linguistic effects of multilingualism
- Individual differences
- Post-pandemic language acquisition and learning

Anonymous abstracts (maximum 500 words, excluding references) must be
submitted by 13 January 2023 by filling in the SUBMISSION FORM
(https://survey.sogolytics.com/r/fbE2ko). 

Notification of acceptance will be sent out by 30 January 2023.
