Description:

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, Faculty of Modern
Languages, at Goethe University Frankfurt invites applications for one
position as Researcher (m/f/d) (E 13 TV-G-U) to be filled on the 01 April
2023. The position will be limited for three years with the possibility of
extension. The salary grade is based on the job characteristics of the
collective agreement applicable to Goethe University (TV-G-U).

The successful candidate is expected to actively participate in linguistic
research and teaching activities of the Department of Romance Languages and
Literatures. 

Teaching load is 6 teaching hours per week (three courses per semester) in the
field of Portuguese and/or Spanish Linguistics. Participation in examinations,
in organizational tasks and in research activities is expected. The position
will be conducive to the realization of a postdoc project or further
scientific qualification. 

Applicants should hold a Master and PhD in linguistics or Romance Studies. An
excellent command of German, Portuguese and/or Spanish is required. Teaching
experience in the field of Romance linguistics and previous experience with
academic self-government are an advantage.
