Meeting Description:

Generally considered the foremost meeting for second language researchers in
Europe, the 2023 conference of the European Second Language Association
(EuroSLA) will bring together for the thirty-second year researchers working
on second language acquisition, processing, and use from across the world.

The academic program will include presentations by the participants as well as
four invited keynote speakers:

- Xiao Lan Curdt-Christiansen (University of Bath) 
- Detmar Meurers (University of Tübingen) 
- Andrea Révész (University College London) 
- Jason Rothman (UiT The Arctic University of Norway)  

The conference will also offer a doctoral student workshop, and a Roundtable
on the topic of ‘Bilingualism and language learning in special populations’

Submission Deadline Extension for EuroSLA 32

Dear colleagues,

Please note that the abstract submission deadline for the 32nd Conference of
the European Second Language Association has been extended to 12 February
2023.

We welcome submissions in all areas and approaches to the study of second,
foreign, or additional languages, bilingualism and multilingualism.

EuroSLA 32 will be held in Birmingham, UK, from Wednesday 30 August to
Saturday 2 September 2023.
