Subject: Call for Study Participants: Russian Speakers in the UK

Hello!

I am a master's student (MSc) at the University of Edinburgh
conducting a research study for my dissertation about the T/V
distinction in Russian language and attitudes of late Russian-English
bilinguals to its absence in English language.

I am looking for native speakers of Russian (any age) who started
learning English at the age of 7 earliest and who have been residing
in the UK for no longer than 2 years. English should be their first
foreign language, and importantly, they should not be linguists or
linguistics students. It will be a recorded 30-minute Zoom meeting to
talk about their attitudes and experiences; all excrepts from
transcribed conversations that will appear in the final piece will be
anonymous. If you happen to have access to any suitable participants,
I would be extremely grateful if you could forward this note to them!
If interested in participating, they can contact me via email
s1148063 at ed.ac.uk.
