Linguistic Field(s): Syntax
Meeting Description:
The purpose of this workshop is to present and discuss Gisbert
Fanselow's contributions to syntactic theory from a current
perspective. This way, the workshop may hopefully contribute to
keeping his syntactic work alive, and to making it accessible for
younger generations of linguists. In line with this latter goal, the
workshop also integrates the next meeting of ``Generative Grammatik
des Suedens'' (GGS; a yearly workshop that was established by Gisbert,
together with Jindrich Toman, in 1983).
