Welcome back to the Linguist List Fund Drive 2023 Donor Challenge! ONE
WEEK LEFT! That’s right, there is one week left in the Linguist List
Fund Drive 2023! Don’t let your subfield, university or country down
and get your donations in while you still can at
https://funddrive.linguistlist.org/donate ! Now let’s check the scores
as we go into the final stretch:

In the Subfield Challenge, Semantics, Sociolinguistics and Syntax
continue to make it a tight race. With only one week left, who will
come out victorious? It could be a single donation that allows your
subfield to win, so make sure you get your donations in!

As for the University Challenge, Cornell has held the lead for 5 weeks
now! Will Stanford University be able to knock them from their throne?
Could it be another university or will Cornell take the crown? Make
sure to check https://funddrive.linguistlist.org/challenges in the
following week to find out!

And finally, the Country Challenge. With total domination from the
United States, it seems unlikely that anyone could steal the throne,
but never impossible! Will Canada make a surge to the top with one
week left? The only way to be sure is to stay tuned in, and make
donations while you can at https://funddrive.linguistlist.org/donate
!
